Die Malereien auf und hinter Acrylglas funktionieren analog zu den realen Wasserarbeiten. Das transparente Acrylglas ist auf der Vorder- und Rückseite bemalt., wodurch einerseits eine spiegelnde oder eine matte Fläche entsteht. Bei manchen Arbeiten ist die rückseitige, mit ihrer Spiegelung das Wasser repräsentiernde Malerei zugleich transparent und lässt Bereiche auf einer Hintergrundebene damit verschmelzen. Es entsteht eine Öffnung hin zu Raum und Zeit. |
The paintngs on and behind acrylic glass function analogously to the real water works. The transparent acrylic glass is painted on the front and back, through which a reflecting surface on the one hand and a mat surface on the other results. In some of the works the painting on the back side, representing the water through its reflection, is also transparent and thereby permits areas to melt into a background level. An opening into space and time arises. |
